The ninth State Final was held on Saturday August 25 at the Austrian Club in Heidelberg. Congratulations to all students who participated, for once again setting such a high standard. As always, it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the learning of German in Victoria.
Our thanks to the Austrian Club for the donation of a spoon for each Year 8 student and for the use of their excellent facilities. A special thanks to the friendly staff capably coordinated by Liz Maedler. We always feel welcome and the staff work very hard to feed the large crowd in attendance. Thanks also to the Judges, to the Regional Final Coordinators, and to the teachers for preparing the students in all AGTV Networks in Victoria. The competition remains a major event in the AGTV calendar.
