Family Day : German Football Festival 2006

On Sunday, 21 May 2006 a Family Day was held at Alemannia Richmond Soccer Club. In a colourful and relaxed atmosphere the many people there enjoyed good weather and a variety of activities for all ages, including:

Mini World Cup tournaments
FUNFOOTBALL skills clinics
Table Football and Tipp-Kick games
SBS Radio Broadcasting Van
SBS vs Channel 31 football match
Bands, choirs, dance groups
Competitions with great prizes
Stalls with German food (incl. Bratwurst, Rösti, Kartoffelpuffer, Weißwurst and Kransky sausages!)

The day was the result of much planning, which was supported by the German Consulate General Melbourne and the following organisations:
